Is it just me, or does it seem like there is MORE jazz now than before that whole article in the news Gazette? Maybe that article scared people, so now everyone wants to play gigs and take more of an active role in promoting their band.

Or, maybe it's just the Holidays, so there is more music going on.

Well, don't confuse visibility here and on cujazz.org with people promoting their bands...that's part of the problem. I've kinda got to go and scour the web to get information on alot of these groups, only about 20% of them actually push information to me.

Also, I'm listing more recurring restaurant gigs than I used to, which makes it look more active. Frankly, I could just as easily pull out Jim Gould's and Great Impasta, as they're almost always the same bands on the same nights at the same times.
